This site, delistmek.com, is a work-in-progress. It has been developed by members of the community of Iranian-Americans who have family members in Camp Ashraf, Iraq. The site intends to educate the public about the views of US Congress; prominent US national security, military, and policy figures; and subject matter experts about the necessity of the prompt removal of the MEK from the State Department’s list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO). The site also makes available any open source and public document which has been a basis for the views of these prominent figures.
It is the belief of the families of Camp Ashraf residents that delisting of the MEK is essential to the safety and security of their loved ones in Ashraf and will facilitate a solution for the growing humanitarian crisis there. Without such a resolution, many observers believe, another massacre by the Iraqi army is on the horizon.
